Clients
- What kind of engineers can you refer us to?
- We can refer you to engineers in the same fields as those of Artner’s engineers, including software, electronics, and machinery. In the coming years, we will also have engineers specializing in chemistry and biotechnology R&D, a next-generation growth field.
- How much does it cost?
- The cost will be entirely based on whether an engineer joins your company. You will incur no costs in the process leading up to an engineer’s entry into your company. Only after an engineer’s entry into your company is decided will we invoice you the referral fee.
- If we ask, can Artner refer its engineers to us for regular employment even during their placement period?
- Yes, we can. We will confirm with engineers, and if they wish to be employed as regular employees, we will proceed with the necessary procedures upon concluding a paid employment placement contract.
- In addition to engineers, can you also refer us to administrative personnel, such as sales, human resource, general affairs, and accounting personnel?
- Our referral service at this time is limited to engineers.
- How does your job change assistance differ from that of other companies in the same industry?
- A major difference is that we refer our regular employee engineers to the client companies where they are assigned. Before employing engineers, client companies can assess their skills and personality during the placement period. We can also refer engineers to employers in their hometowns and in rural areas, not only the companies to which they are assigned.
Engineers
- What kind of companies can you refer me to?
- We primarily refer engineers to our clients, which are Japan’s leading manufacturing companies. Currently, we work with approximately 1,000 companies listed on their respective stock exchange as well as blue-chip, mid-sized companies.
- Can you refer me to companies even if I am not an Artner employee?
- Yes. We accept registrations from Artner employees as well as outsiders seeking employment or job change.
- Will I incur costs to receive a referral?
- Those seeking employment or job change will not incur any costs. We receive referral fees from the companies that decide to hire the candidates we introduce.
- Do I have to apply to the companies I am referred to?
- Whether you apply or not is up to you. Employment contracts are established only when both those seeking employment or job change and the client company reach an agreement.
- Can I ask to change to a job in my hometown or in a rural area?
- In principle, we primarily refer engineers to our clients, but we can accommodate if there are companies that match your preferences.
- What happens if engineers withdraw their job change request?
- Information related to their requests for job change registration is strictly managed, so the information will never be shared with anyone outside of the Engineer Agency Business Division, both internally and externally. Even if engineers withdraw their job change request, they can still continue to work as Artner employees.

- How do engineers’ job changes affect the Company’s financial results?
- We cannot stop engineers from wanting to change jobs. We anticipate a synergistic effect between our job change assistance program and our engineer dispatching services. We expect they will help us achieve the positive impacts of acquiring excellent engineers and expanding our new client base.
- What are the Engineer Agency Business Division’s targets in the Medium-Term Business Plan?
- The division aims to accumulate a track record in job change assistance, both to fulfill engineers’ wishes to change jobs and to highlight this for securing excellent engineers through our recruitment activities.
