Financial summary for Reporting Period 60 (FY2022)

Market environment

●Conditions remain challenging due to the impact of Covid-19, but signs of recovery are expected.

●The transition toward carbon neutrality has heightened demand for engineers for electric vehicles (EVs) and fuel cell vehicles (FCVs) as well as autonomous driving and semiconductors beyond that of the previous year.

State of engineer dispatching business

●The number of operative personnel was higher than for the same period last year.
・Both the number of engineers and the utilization rate were higher than for the same period last year.
・Placement of newly graduated engineers that joined the company in 2021 progressed ahead of the initial schedule.

●The unit price of engineers declined slightly compared with the same period last year.

●Total work person-hours were higher than during the same period last year.(Restoration of overtime hours)

Expenses

●Progress in the placement of unplaced personnel led to a decrease in SG&A expenses and an increase in the cost of sales.
(Labor costs connected to engineers are recorded as SG&A expenses until they are assigned to our client companies, after which the costs are recorded under cost of sales.)

●Travel, transportation, meeting, and other expenses declined in line with the promotion of remote work for staff involved in recruiting and sales activities.
